Catalog

The Catalog is the definition of what you handle: every Product a Merchant sells, the attributes that describe it, the classifications that decide how it is stored and shipped, and the relationships between Products. Each Merchant has its own Catalog, and a Product always belongs to exactly one Merchant.

The Catalog describes Products; it does not track the stock of them. Counts, Holds, Lots and snapshots are in Inventory & Stock.

Products

• Products - creating and maintaining the SKUs a Merchant sells.
• Product Attributes - the fields that describe a Product, including your own custom attributes.
• Import Products - creating and updating Products in bulk from an Excel or CSV file.

Classifications

• Product Profiles - reusable labels such as Fragile or Ship Alone that a Product can match more than one of.
• Handling Classes - the single warehouse-specific group, such as Smalls or Team Lift, that each Product falls into.
• Regulations and Dangerous Goods - the shipping restrictions that apply to hazardous Products, including Lithium Batteries.

Product relationships

• Bill of Materials - how one Product can be substituted with, or assembled from, others.
• Bill of Materials - Quantity-types - BOMs that express the same Product in different pack sizes.
• Virtual Inventory - how availability is reported for Products that are kitted on demand.
• Import Bill of Materials - loading BOMs in bulk from a file.
