Using ShipStream

This section is about the interfaces themselves rather than any one feature: how to read and filter a grid, how times are displayed, how the Scanner UI is organised, and where in the menus each documented feature lives. Every other section assumes you are comfortable with what is here.

ShipStream has three interfaces. The Admin UI is used by warehouse staff and administrators and sees every Merchant. The Client Portal is the same platform limited to a single Merchant's data. The Scanner UI is the mobile, barcode-driven interface used on the floor.

Finding your way around

• Menu Guide - a lookup from every Admin UI, Client Portal and Scanner UI menu item to the page that documents it.
• Navigation Menu and Side Menu - the two menus every Admin UI and Client Portal screen is reached from.
• The Dashboard - the landing screen you see after signing in.

Working with data

• Grid View - the filterable, exportable list that every record type is presented in, and the mass actions available from it.
• Advanced Grid Filtering - wildcards, ranges and keyword operators for narrowing a grid down to exactly what you need.
• Timezones - which timezone a displayed time is in, and how to change it per Warehouse or user.
