Operations Overview

Floor Operations covers the work your warehouse staff execute every day: picking Shipments, putting stock away, assembling Work Orders, moving inventory between Locations, and loading completed packages onto a truck. Most of these flows are driven from the Scanner UI and monitored from the Admin UI under Operations.

The configuration behind them - Locations, Racks, Zones, Pick Routes and Batching Setup - lives in Warehouse Setup.

Outbound work

• Picking Batches - group Shipments into a single pick, then work the batch through the Scanner UI.
• Bulk Fulfill Orders - pick and pack many Shipments that contain identical items in one optimized pass.
• Manifests (Loading) - bundle finished packages by Manifest Courier and load them onto the right transport.

Inbound and internal work

• Put-Aways - store received, returned or produced inventory into its Locations.
• Relocations - move inventory between Locations, or convert it between SKUs, without disrupting availability.
• Work Orders - pick components, assemble or disassemble them, and return the result to stock.
